
10 years of the Platform against Exploitation and Human Trafficking
At the centre of this special day is the joint campaign against human trafficking and exploitation as well as a look back at a decade of committed educational work, political networking and concrete help for those affected.
Programme highlights
The event is divided into two parts and is aimed at both young people and professionals:

Morning programme (for school classes and students):

Workshops and lectures on topics such as children's rights, forced marriage, prostitution, labour exploitation and flight.

The aim is to sensitise young people to the complex structures of exploitation and to encourage social commitment.

Afternoon programme (symposium):

Exchange among experts, organisations and decision-makers.

Thematic focus: The need for action to establish a National Referral Mechanism (NRM) in Austria.

The aim is to provide more effective and coordinated support for those affected through clear responsibilities and cooperation between institutions.

About the platform
The Platform against Exploitation and Human Trafficking was founded in 2015 and has since developed into a non-partisan, civil society networking centre. It brings together NGOs, intergovernmental organisations and committed individuals with the aim of preventing human trafficking, protecting those affected and raising public awareness.

Recognition and impact
The platform was awarded the Florian Kuntner Prize in 2022 for its work - in particular for its educational work in the field of human rights and social justice.

The anniversary event offers an opportunity to look back, exchange ideas and look ahead - and is aimed at anyone interested in human rights, social justice and solidarity-based action. Admission is free, registration is requested.
