Lord Jesus Christ, Saviour of the World,

In every age You call men and women
and entrust them with a special mission.
Especially in times of hardship and darkness,
You send us courageous people
who lead by their example and dedication.

They bring light where fear and darkness prevail.
They act where suffering demands compassion.
They proclaim Your message always and everywhere,
using every means available.

In Fr Titus,
You gave us a priest of exemplary holiness.

He inspired children to participate actively in the life of faith.
He visited the sick and the lonely.
He protected women and girls, even at the cost of his own life.

With Your help, he made it possible
for children to be loved and valued,
for those who were alone to be comforted with words of hope,
and for the dignity of women to be upheld.

We now ask You with confidence and trust:
hear our prayers and petitions,
especially those we carry in our hearts
and now entrust to You.

Through Your servant, Fr Titus,
grant us a powerful intercessor.
May we receive from heaven Your grace, strength, and consolation.

Grant Your Church, once again,
men and women after Your own heart,
following his example.
