This marks the twelfth time that the Salvatorians have combined contemporary art with social commitment. This year’s charity art auction features a selection of 50 works by Austrian and international artists. The auction will once again take place online in 2026, in our long-standing partnership with the Dorotheum.

What all these works have in common is their contribution to a shared cause: art should not only be viewed and collected, but should also support people in need.
Fr Martin Gal SDS, Provincial of the Salvatorians and Chairman of ‘Salvatorians Worldwide’:
„Art brings people together. It builds bridges between people, cultures and life stories.“
The fact that this collaboration is a success year after year is also down to the commitment of the artists involved. They make their works available for the auction, thereby helping to fund specific aid projects run by the Salvatorians.
The proceeds from this year’s charity art auction will go towards two charitable causes. The funds will support disadvantaged children in Venezuela, as well as women and children in Romania who are affected by domestic violence and are seeking protection.

In this way, the purchase of a work of art also becomes a contribution to providing practical help on the ground.
